This clown fish tucked in his anemone reminds me of a small child nestled in a feather pillow. As I was photographing this fish, I was endeared by his shy yet playful behavior.

The tentacles of the host anemone are poisonous to most fish, but the anemone fish are unaffected by this poison. For them, the anemone offers a safe refuge from other predators. In return for this safe shelter, the anemone fish will make sure its host is well fed.
