The Caribbean Reef Shark attains a maximum length of about 9 feet. These medium-sized sharks are the most common sharks around coral reefs in the Caribbean, Florida, Bahamas, and Gulf of Mexico. This photograph was taken from off the coast of New Providence Island of the Bahamas.
